Abstract

Enhanced oil recovery solutions (such as chemical, thermal, gas) have been tested and applied in many oil and gas fields in the world. However, the suitable solutions for deepwater offshore oilfields with high temperature in Vietnam are to apply chemical and gas injection methods.

The paper presents results of study and test of enhanced oil recovery methods conducted by the Vietnam Petroleum Institute in some oil fields in Vietnam and proposes some measures for successful implementation of enhanced oil recovery projects in the future.
